I’m a Doula. A dealer? No! A Doula. What’s a Doula?
The learning curve with this project was to completely understand the role of the Doula. And to put ourselves in the shoes of Doula Shell's audience. Like many people, it was something that we had never heard of. A Doula can play an important role in supporting families to help give them a positive birth experience.
Michelle wanted a confident brand that felt approachable and supportive, but stood out from the crowd through it’s professionalism and individuality. It was important to her that the brand didn’t follow the status quo, as every birth and every mother is different.
We commissioned the wonderful Laura Cruttenden to craft some beautiful illustration to inject personality and an element of storytelling to the design. Balancing this with some lovely birth photography from Nick Walker. Michelle's website needed to sit comfortably with her well established, playful social media personality. Our friends at Moresoda helped us bring the design to life with some of their coding magic.
